'2 in 1 Amazing Robot that Changes'
Packaging reads: "It comes from intergalactic space - this fierce warrior of the Androform Force. But watch out! - because it changes before you very eyes as you twist and turn and pull."
While robots that change into things aren't short on gun-bots, some are clearly better than others. For a budget offering the Pistol Robot is actually not too bad, mode changes well and is solid and stable in both forms.
The only really odd thing is the red fist attached to the end of the barrel. The fist can't be removed making it look like a pistol The Joker might whip out.
The robot image on the packaging shows the hands reversed (likely the image was flipped) and the head design is more akin to the Convertors figure Colt than the actual product.

Androform UK Blue-Box Toys 1984
The Pistol Robo was also sold in a three piece 2 in 1 gift pack complete with gold ribbon and bow printed on the top left corner of the box. The other models included were the 2 in 1 Space Shuttle Robot and 2 in 1 Car Robot.
